Coming and Going


The Presbytery welcomes Rev Mark Faulkner to Gungahlin Congregation (meets: Ngunnawal Primary School). The Induction Service for Mark was on Sunday 28 January 2007, conducted by Rev Norm Wakefield, Chairman of the Presbytery. The speaker was Rev Liva Tukutama who also spoke at at Mark’s induction at Wagga some years ago. The Synod General Secretary, Rev Paul Swadling spoke briefly about having been the minister who married Mark And Peta Gai Faulkner at Hackett, ACT, and who was also an early advisor to Mark’s aspirations to enter the ministry. Mark and Peta Gai Faulkner grew up in Canberra and are happy to return with their family to the region.

Darren WrightThe Presbytery is thankful for the work and service of Darren Wright, Youth Worker, who leaves for Wagga on 2 February 2007. Darren will be taking up a position with the Riverina Presbytery overseeing ministry with youth, children and families. He will still be assisting the on-going webmaster with this web site.

Rev Peter Woodward and his wife Joan are leaving for Ipswich, QLD, where Peter will be the minister. Peter has been filling in at Gungahlin UC after retiring as Principal Chaplain – Army.
